Rebel 30 Tubes!!!

I bought a used Rebel 30 head and picked up a new 2x12 Egnater cabinet...

I started to notice that on the clean channel the lower strings have started to distort when I have the volume up between 1/4 and a 1/2..

I tried a few different guitars and they all do the same thing... I also have several other brands of amps and they don't distort like this one is...

Do I need new tubes? If so what brand and which ones should I get?

Can I install them myself?

Does the amp have to be turned on when setting the bias?

I have not had a single problem with this amp up till now...

If you play on the guitar with humbucker this is normal. Rebel 30 distort on 1/4 VOL on clean channel with stron signal from guitar.
Try stratocaster with single pickup.
