i just switched out the stock jj 6v6's on my rebel. my problem is when i am attempting to bias the new tubes with the bias pot (the new tubes are rca 6v6gt's), i am only getting the tubes biased at about 38ma because the pot won't physically turn more in that direction. i know that 45ma is printed on the PCB as the recommended bias setting. is there any way to "reset" the pot to get more leeway in each direction without having to send it in for repair? the el84 side biases fine (kept the jj's in there because they sound great). btw, i am getting awesome tone from the rebel by replacing v1 v2 and v3 with NOS RCA 12ax7's with a matched one in v3. it really helped to clean up the higher gain sounds. this amp really sounds amazing with my '78 LP with stock humbuckers.
