Hi!
Another one for the Egnater folks..
If I retube the EL84's, will it require biasing?
Are they a cathode bias?

If they do require biasing, suggested technique/steps/numbers?

thx!

Bumping for an answer. Let's keep this one on the radar since inquiring minds need to know. Jeff, Bruce and John will see it eventually when they come up for for air and sunlight. Jeff's probably disoriented from sniffing that orangy disinfectant in the bathroom. They'll be along shortly to answer I'm sure. In the mean time I could read the manual ... nah!

Same for the 6V6 is it necesary to re-bias with tube replacement there too?

The Rebel is real easy to bias. There are trim pots with little stands to put leads in and the values are on the board

I used them, but was wondering if mA values were available as well.
If Bruce has it setup to bias that way, cool! Will stick to that.

I popped some JJ EL84's in mine, and then biased the EL84's and 6V6's. Absolutely loving my Rebel!
Oddly enough, after re-biasing, setting the Tube Blend to 6V6 only and then EL84 only, the perceived volume is pretty even now; prior, the EL84's were noticeably louder. Regardless, it is simply beautiful. :D
