Jeff,
You mentioned that 2 of the designs .will there possibly be more at Namm.
as in a 2 channel 50 or 100 head that will do Clean/scream?

as far as the hot channels I know they are not modular but which modules do they sort of come closest too .are they more Eg 3,4,5 type..

Thanks !

You are seeing 2 of our designs exclusive to GC. They are designed by Egnater and built to our exacting specifications overseas. GC will not be carrying any of our modular product line. Bruce will be flying to Cali to personally inspect and test the shipments to GC.
I just played the Tourmaster this past week and it kicks Ass. Channels 1 is super clean and really big. Channel 2 is clean to a floored Bassman. Channels 3 and 4 cover a really wide range of OD sounds from classic crunch (AC/DC) to way over the top high gain (80'S rock to modern metal). The amp has tons of cool features both for tone and in the power section. The Tourmaster will hit the 17 GC Platinum stores in early December. Availability of the Tourmaster 4100 head, the 4212 Combo and the new Rebel amp should arrive in 250 GC stores hopefully in late January. We have not confirmed pricing yet but they will be very reasonable.
From Egnater Modular....look for our new E2 single spaced modular preamp and custom single channel modules at NAMM.

No and as soon has its final I will get you all the offical specs!

that tourmaster sounds vaguely familiar.... ;)

i hope these amps hit big! bruce is one of the greatest amp builders of our time.

i wish i was a multi-billionaire so i could hire bruce e., vic m., mark c., peter d., reinhold b., john s., dave friedman and andy f. the two rock guys,

and lock them in a room with food and water for a year until they emerge with THE amp!! :D

You forgot to let Bob B. tag along

Is the rebel only going to be available as a head or will there be a combo as well?

Personally, I'd like to see the power section from the Rebel in a power amp! Sounds like the perfect mate for an E2... ;)

Orren

Right on Orren, but at the price these are going to be selling for just buy it and use it that way. Then you also have a spare amp sitting in the box waiting. That is assuming it has a compliment of in's and out's on the back side for an effects loop. Jeff, pictures of the back, or can you comment on the preamp send and return situation?

Jeff,

Do you know what the gain on the rebel would compare to? Can it reach JCM800 territory?

Thanks!

Guess I will wait to buy an amp til I try these!!! haha More info on the Rebel would be cool!!!

Sorry guys I am so fricken busy running Egnater and oh ya building pre amps and heads that I dont get back here much. The rebel is easily JCM 800 territory. I was playing the proto last night. I was suprized how much gain it has. Cleans up really well and the tube switch is great. It gives it a very different mid sound when flipping from the 6v6 to the EL 84. Its gonna be a killer little package!

No plans for a combo as of yet.

Yes it has a roop, tight and bright switch....Look for more info later!

Back to work!
