Recommend a delay For Rebel 20

Been having some issues getting a delay to to play nice in the Rebel Loop.
The line level Mod appears to have been done but my DD20 and Timefactor are noisy .
Switching either pedal to instrument level reduces the noise but not enough.

Anyone tried the Nova delay with the Rebel ?? Ideally i would like to have a at least a couple of presets
and tap tempo. Any Suggestions ??

Oddly, i have an old Boss DSD-3 delay/sampler and it sounds fine in the loop and i believe that is an instrument level pedal. Hmmm.

  That would do it,but what price range are you talking.I used a Digitech hardwire DL-8 threw the loop and it sounded great and on sale they are a little over $100.00

The 2290 Rocks

Price Range doesn't really matter. I'm putting a compact pedalboard together for fly dates.
So it kinda takes rack stuff out of the running.

Does the Hardwire delay have presets, tap tempo etc. Couldn't tell from their website ?

Ideally getting the Boss DD20 to work would be great. I wonder if i can just change the loop
resistors with different values to get that pedal to work ?

I don't think any mods are needed for the DD-20 and it can work in the line level loop.Ya the 2290 would kill in any situation :D

DD20 has an option for pedal/line level..I know Pete uses one.

EDIT: sorry..that'll teach me to only half read a thread...not using it with Rebel only Randall/Egnater 50s

The DD20 works great at line level my MOD50 but doesn't on either setting (Line/instrument) in the Rebel Loop.
Is Pete using the DD20 with success in the Rebel Loop ?

+1 on the Hardwire Delay. No noise added through the effects loops. Keep in mind this is the modded effects loop. My Ibanez pedal are still noisy through it. But the Hardwires are nice and quiet!

Planning on getting an MXR Carbon Copy for mine. Tried one out the other day and it sounds great as long as you're not looking for really long delay times...

I have a CC too. It works well in the Rebel's loop.

Oh... But... I prefer running analog delays through the front. That's why I have the Hardwire specifically for the loop.
