I was thinking OS 2x12 Bogner w/ V30's.. if I can find one..

Anything else I should consider? Anyone try out the Port City OS 2x12 cab with a Diezel before?

Yes the Bogner o/s is very good with the Herbert, that's what I prefer.. Avatar have nice sounding cabs also.

I love my Orange 2x12" with my Einstein.

Great sounding cab and cheaper than the Bogner stuff.

I like Bogner better than Orange, but it's a matter of taste. Orange cabs are really good too.

Don't you guys get a little nervous with just a 2x12 for the Herbert? 150-180W through 2 speakers, especially V30s, seems a little much to me. I have a Mesa 2x12 with 2 V30s I've used with my Herbert, but I was always a little worried I'd push it too far and blow a speaker.

Not really, I think by the time I push it that far the cops will be at my door. If I played live maybe, but I have no time for a band

What do you guys think is a good price to pay for a 2x12 OS Bogner cab?

I put up a clip on the "Post your clips here" thread using a Herbert and Bogner OS2x12. I'm really happy with the sound and got it with very little effort. I spent maybe 10 minutes dicking around with knobs and mike placement and then did a few passes for the clip.

Also SPLAWN makes a mean sounding 2x12.
That's what I've been using with my Herbert.
The thing is built like a tank and rated at 120 watts.
I got it for like $400.00

yeah...that is exactly my problem too.
I am also thinking of a 2x12 CAB for @home
I know I won't be turning the volume that loud but what if there are "peaks"...one brrrp which comes with 180w?!

Or am I just too OVERworried??
