Recommend me a good rack-mount effects unit

I never have been into effects, and I doubt I ever will, so I don't want anything that's going to break the bank. The main effect I'm looking for is a harmonizer, but I want to dabble in some other usable effects too, to see if I like anything. I will be using this through my VHT GP3 so I would like it to be MIDI-usable too.

Those are the first 2 that come to mind, now bear in mind I dont know how good their harmonizors are, I never used them......

You'll be hard pressed to get cheaper units that have good pitch shifting.

I suggest a good delay/reverb/chorus unit like an old intellifex, then a Digitech DHP-33 for intelligent harmonies.
