So I've been listening to the final mix that my engineer mastered of our album. While I'm generally happy with his work, when I compare the final product to some of my favorite records across various home & car stereos there's this aspect in the EQ that doesn't really sound "radio ready", for lack of a better term. I've worked with him a bit to clean it up and I think he's done the best he can with what he has.
I have seen some ads for mastering services that use AI to dial in mixes, and also make all tracks sound uniform for the album. (We recorded these over about 2 years so...) Does anyone have experience with using any of these services? Recommendations? Thanks guys.
