Recommended speaker cab

I have Genz Benz G Flez 2x12 but am starting to think it is too bassy. Are the Diezel cabs really worth the extra cost (especially since I live in the US - also read that the cabs are made in Germany with US parts so having one shipped here from overseas seems silly...)? I just want a rock solid cab with super focused, well controlled bass and superb balance throughout the spectrum. Looking for another 2x12.

I have a 100 watt Einstein and just got an Orange 2x12 with V30s that I really love. I actually like it more than my Marshall 1960. Because I don't know what amp you have I can't really help other than to say that you should definitely demo some more cabs. If you have the coin, go with the Diezel.
 
I have Einstein 50W combo and VH4S.

If you can find one
Try a front loaded 4x12 by Hughes & Kettner from the mid 90's and they are covered in a blue "velvet" material. My friends and I call them a "Blue Fuzzy". They are from the Attax series. 100 watta Eminence speakers. Incredible bass response, great cleans, great break up/distortion, etc

Being that we are in the Diezel forum....How about a Diezel cab? I can't say how they sound as I have never played thru one though :D
 
There is no doubt about it... DIEZEL cabs are by far the best ones I've ever played AND heard...

I've got a frontloaded v30 and now I'll get another one, but this time, I'll follow P.Stapfer advises and get it with the G12K 100 speakers (I think those are... although not 100% sure :) )...

I really can be more happy with them ... I'd really advise you to... at least... try them.. ;)

hey Peter i have your rear loaded v 30 cab, i want another diezel cab this time front loaded to mix with it live. would you still load it with v 30's or would you try those 100 watt celestions instead? like i said im gonna run em both live.

I'm curious about how those G12K-100 compare to V30 as well. :confused:
 
Same here...and I'm about to pull the trigger on a 4x12...but I'm still not sure...

Choice is between:

Bogner Uberkab
Diezel front loaded V30
Diezel front loaded G12K-100

Anyone know of places near Boston where I can buy a Diezel cab?

And of course the Koch users are telling me the Koch cabs sound best with their amps. So maybe I need to match all my amps with corresponding cabs...

This is not a cheap hobby...
