Guys, guys, guys...

There are soooo many people who just buy amps and all sorts of gear that they don't play, can't play...shouldn't play. (I'm trying really hard not to just launch on my anti consumerism friggin' manic street preacher thing that makes Sam Kinneson look like Mr. Rogers) but lets just put it this way...it's not about music for some people. On the other hand, times are also tough out there in the US economy, and sometimes you gotta do stuff that really hurts. I had to part with a killer Bogner head once. Almost made me cry...but the sheesh assuaged the melancholy.

I think when yo make a good score on the Bay and the brown truck doesn't maul your kill, you have to get down on your knees at your front door hold up your arms to the sky above and CUT THAT cardboard SONOFABITCH open and let the little foam peanuts fall all over you like rain and blood from a sacred Native American ceremony honoring not the life that was given to you via the kill, but the mystical musical power that you will harness form the four sacred corners with your new gear! (unless they destroyed it in transit)
