Sick. I want the Red, but I'm just not a pedal player.

NICE!!!

I've been playing my Plexitone into my Straub "Hurdy Gurdy" 6L6 single channel amp (think Fender Blackface). LOVIN IT! But I've been jonesing to try a Blue pedal and maybe even a Red one. How would you compare the OD tones into your clean amp from the Bogner pedals, versus what you get with the Plexitone?

BTW... I've owned an EL34 Shiva and an XTC Classic, so I definitely dig the Bogner tone.

I want a pedalboard just so I can put those beautiful Bogner pedals on it. Love the way they look.

Very nice. Which one do you find yourself using more the red or the blue? I am probably only going to be able to get one and its a toss up right now.

Well, the Plexitone is a great pedal. The Blue is much lighter gain without the boost. Like a plexi on the verge of breakup. The boost gives you more crunch but is easy to over do and get muddy. I can really get the same gritty sound with my Plexitone with the guitar vol rolled back. So, im kind of duplicating.

Now the Red is a whole different animal. We are talking smooth saturated high gain! It freaking sounds like my friends XTC Red channel....and that's through a HRDLX! When he came over and heard it.....he shook his head and said..."that's not fair...do you know how much I paid for my amp!!". You can back off the guitar vol and it reacts like a freaking amp.

Interesting. Maybe I should be jonesing for a Red pedal instead.
