So as time goes by I dial in less & less presence & high end on my amps. I've decided to remove the stuffing in one of my bogner cabs today & I'm really happy with the results, nice & crunchy!

I guess, things change.

I think the day when things stop changing is the day we`re all dead, so it´s nice to see the world spinning

Ive had the same experience, I try only to use the frequencies needed and the guitar cuts through just fine when its predominantly midrange.

If you haven't tried the tonetubby ceramic you should. its as if the speaker cant make unpleasant high frequencies and It handles the bass like no other. so tight yet huge.

Got a clip, video or something with it?

I actually might try some speakers right now. I have 2 v30 & a 75 spots that I don't dig. So I'm open to 3 different new speakers to try. Must sound good with Herbert 1st, the rest of the Diezels & Marshalls 2nd.

The ceramic hemp cones IMO sound superb with the Herbert and a rear loaded cab. Not so good (again IMO) on anything front loaded.

i will take some vids & clips this weekend. Been a hectic week.

the RL Hemp cab does sound killer. i had to get it to believe it!!

Well i second the tone tubby,i have a 4x12 slant with celestion green backs and vintages and a 2x12 with a vintage and a alnico.I.M.O. the alnico are the bomb. The cab is rear loaded an i will be getting another alnico when funds become available.Oh yeah I'm using an Einy.
