Renagade Low Frequency Noise

I am experiencing an oscillation entirely independent of the volume control, but seems to be related to the depth circuit, as the amplitude and frequency of the noise change withs weeps of the depth knob, but the noise is never gone. It also appears to be induced by mechanical vibration, as I have eliminated it by removing the head from the cabinet, and I can hear noise from the speaker when I knock on the top of the head. It doesn't make a difference which power tube pair is active per the tube mix knob. This problem existed before and after a total preamp tube swap. Help?
 
Maybe the fan? Have you tried unplugging it and see if the noise goes away?

It is possible it got lost in transit somehow, since we had a couple guys out last week and he was going crazy. PM me your e-mail address, and I'll have him get a hold of you.
