Very new to this forum but actually a 60 year old (young) blues player from western NY
Is anyone using the Egnater 410 X cab with (2) amps in the 16 ohm ports?
If so what heads are you running????
I just received my cab this afternoon... and for years I was always dragging two 2x12 cabs along with two heads.....
I figured at my age I'd lighten the load to the Egnater 4x10 cab..
I used 10's in the early 1970's.....
I'm running a C/50 head on one side and a Tweaker 40 on the other....
The Tweaker sounds fine in a Avatar 2x12 cab with WGS retro 30's
BUT......flat as a pancake in the 410 X......
The C/50 head well truthfully sounds a lot better than the Tweaker but not too lively..
Maybe the Renegade cab has to be broken in???
I haven't tried removing the back panel to see how that sounds......
The cure might just be (4) WGS speakers BUT I hope not !!!!!!
Anyone that could shed some light to wake this cab up let me know ......I have 45 days and counting if I have to send it back
Thanks.......
