Hi Guys,

This summer I bought an Egnater Renegade 65 112 combo because I absolutely loved the sound. The reverb however didn't work at all. So I bought it and it was immediately sent for repair. Weeks and weeks later I got it back only to find out that the reverb normally works but after 5 to 40 minutes it completely stops working. If I switch the amp off and back on again, it works again.

Is this a common problem?
Can I do something myself?

I hate it that repairing it took weeks, and it just isn't fixed. I'm afraid if I send it for repair again it won't work when it comes back.

Just for future reference: the amp has been replaced by another renegade by the store I bought it in. The new one works great and sounds brilliant. Love it.

The Renegade reverb is known to have some issues. I know because I have one myself. It can overload if you turn the channel master up beyond about 1 o'clock. Not the greatest reverb in the world.

That's strange to hear. I've owned 2 Renegades, and I always ran the clean channel cranked, with the reverb. Never had a hiccup with the verb at all.

Do a search on the forum. Some people have had this problem. Not really an issue for me as I usually leave the reverb turned off on it.
