Renegade 65: tweed or BF clean?

All of this talk about the E2 working with an effects loop-based amp has me really thinking about the Renegade 65 head. Seems like a great (less pricey) way to have a four-channel amp, plus taking advantage of the versatility of the modules.

I guess my question is this (and mainly to Jeff/Bruce, since the amp isn't out yet): would you describe the clean channel as being closer to tweed or Blackface in character? Also, how overdriven can that side get?

The Renegade 65 paired with an E2 loaded with the SL2 & EG5 mods sounds like it would be a kick-ass setup. Someone rumored that the Renegade 65 is like having the Bassman and SL2 mods in one head, but don't remember where I heard that.

Thats basically what it sounded like to me at NAMM. Its not dead on those two modules but they are the closest in the Egnater modular line-up Id say. The clean channel is definitely more Bassman than Twin. The overdrive sounds like SL2 with bright switch on. With that switch off its more like EG3/4.
