HI, Just picked up a Renegade and a TM 2x12. Great buy I must say! I'm using my Axe-Fx in a 4 cable method with the Renegade and would like to use the Behringer FCB1010's 2 relay switches to do channel/loop/boost. The 2 relay switches on the FCB can use TRS cables, so I'm assuming with 2 TRS cables and using the FCB editor, I should be able to control the Renegade similar to the Egnater controller. Right?
If not then I guess the other option would be the RJM product?

The switching jack functions are printed on the back of the amp. Use latching, not momentary, switching.

So it turns out the FCB1010's 2 switches can operate SOME of the switching funtions on the Renegade. Each switch can only operate the "Tip" of the 1/4" plug but not the "Ring".
The footswitch inputs on the back of the Renegade, the one with the tan circle, the "Tip" activates the Channel switching. Works fine, but you won't have the Boost funtion because it operates off the "Ring" portion of the plug. Not a problem, I'll put a boost in my Axe-Fx patch at the end of the chain for the same effect.
On the other footswitch input on the Renegade, the "Tip" controls the Reverb and the "Ring" controls the Effects Loop. Since I can have reverb on the Axe-Fx, by just installing the 1/4" plug part way so the Tip is activating the Ring, you can switch the effects loop on/off.
Hope that helps anyone who has a similar setup.

You could get a stereo "Y" type cable that splits into two mono plugs. One mono plug goes to the tip. The other goes to the ring. This would give you access to all four functions.

The only problem with that, the FCB1010's 2 switch jacks are mono. So the "Y" would work for channel/boost or Reverb/Loop but not both 'cause there would have to be 2 more switch jacks on the FCB1010, right? Too bad the switch jacks on the FCB1010 are not TRS like the Renegade's. I'll eventually get the RJM Gizmo but this will get me by for now. Thanks Bruce.

You can make "special" cables the will connect the tip or ring of the stereo plugs to the tip of the mono plugs for your switcher.
