Am doing an outside gig this weekend with my Renegade 1x12. Planning on using the "recording out" to go to into the mixer. My drummer had a request that I use an extension cabinet next to him with a volume control that he can use to monitor just my guitar. I have a Tech 21 Power Engine 60 that I thought about trying and wondered if I could use the effect "send" to provide a signal to the Power Engine. Wanted to ask before I tried hooking it up. Yes, you can. But it will cut off the signal to your combo speaker unless you find a way to run the signal back to the return jack.

If you're running the record out to the board, why can't he have a monitor and a mix of his own from the board?

Need to check the board we're using to see if we have an aux we could use to isolate my guitar to the Power Engine....thanks.
