Renegade: footswitch question...

Bruce, Ian, or anyone that knows...

When I play live, I really only use the footswitch to change channels and mains.
I also have limited space on my pedal board for the switcher.

Will my Rebel 30 footwitch (in the "beige" jack) work?
And with nothing plugged in the black jack, will the effect loop be on all the time?

I think it will work fine. I was using and old two channel marshall ftsw for my renegade. I too only needed to change channels and the boost feature. Not sure about the effexs loop being on? you should just try it, can't hurt it.

Been there, done that, works great!

Without a footswitch plugged in, the effects loop and reverb are both active. So it's all good.
