I have a renegade head. Fairly new (3 months old).

I am encountering an issue where the effects loop is 'leaking'. What I am hearing is that when I have the mute on my rack tuner turned (korg dtr1000) on , I can still hear a miniscule amount of signal coming through the speakers.... although it is incredibly distorted and very faint... it sounds like buzzing, but is definitely guitar signal.

This also used to happen when running my pedalboard w/ a boss ns-2 through the effects loop.

I have verified that my other amps/heads with the effects loop do NOT exhibit this issue.

I tried swapping V4 and V5 to see if there is some sort of leakage across the gain stages to no avail. It is still there.

Any idea what might cause this. It is more annoying than anything, but hearing 'bzzzzzz, crackle....bzzzzz' when tuning is getting old.

Hi steve, I have had this problem when I have been setting up my TC G-System with my renegade head. I spoke with Mr E about the problems I was having and he told me that there is an internal FX Loop Level in the renegade. It could be that it is set to high and sending too much signal through your Korg tuner and giving you the leaking. Now I've sorted my settings I don't get the leaking when I mute my rig with my volume pedal that runs through my loop. You have to take your head apart to get at it......but it could be worth a go.
