Has anyone tried running pedals through the loop? Specifically instrument level pedals?

I am running a Vox Time Machine, Boss Super Chorus and a BBE Sonic Stomp with great success!! It takes pedals very well. There is no tone suckage (if that is a word) between having the effects loop on or off.

So a buddy of mine go an email back from Egnater today stating that the renegade has a button on the inside of the amp to switch the loop from instrument to line level. They stated that it ships set to instrument level. Has anyone noticed the button?

Umm.....just took off the back plate and I see no button. Did they happen to mention where it is??

I don't believe they did. Maybe it's underneathe the chassis?

probably inside ill look one of these days..Either way this amp is nice when you retube it!!!

Can we get a confirmation from some body from Egnater about the effects loop button and its location. I would hate to take the amp apart and find out that there in not one!!

I took the chassis out of mine b/c of a near disaster I created with some replacement poweramp tubes. This was before I'd heard of any "button" so admittedly I wasn't looking for it, but I didn't see anything like that. I may take the chassis out again soon and I'll look for the alleged "button."

In the meantime, I've been running a Line6 M13 in the fx loop using the 4 cable method and I'm gaga over the setup.

OH, and someone asked about replacement tubes -- I put some JJ 12AC7s in the amp and it really helped the OD side of the amp, primarily in giving the amp a more smooth transition from vintage-y low crunch to heavy gain. With the stock tubes, that difference was pretty narrow.

Cheers,
