Renegade "Valve" noise question

Hi guys, I have a Renegade 65 that has started making a funny noise, I'll describe it as blowing me long kisses?. It is doing it with and without a guitar cable plugged in, it is on both 6l6 and el34 sides and on both channels. My question, do you think it's a valve, I'm going to change the valves, but should I stop playing it, does it sound like a valve just about to let go. Thanks all.

Panic over, It's New Valves Time......it was a pre amp valve giving up, the kiss sound was like air being sucked into the valve???, the top end went nasty and lost tone and volume. cannibalized 2 JJ ECC83's out of one of my other amps and the Renegade Channel 1 is back to normal, apart from the JJ's having more bottom end and earlier gain breakup then the Electro Harmonix ECC83's.
