Renegade w/ Tourmaster 212...8 or 16 ohms?

I've got a Renegade head and Tourmaster 212 cab, and I've always used just one speaker cable and ran it 8 ohms / mono.

Would there be significant increase in tonal quality by picking up another cable and running it at 16 ohms / stereo?

The Renegade isn't stereo. So using both speakers seperately will make no difference.
