Represent Solo!

So, last year a very good friend of my from back in the day asked if I would throw down 16 bars for a very cool track with all proceeds going to charity. Lots of killer guitarists from the mid-west were involved. During the final mix, most of the solos were trimmed to 8 bars instead of 16 just to make the finished product more viable. But this was the raw track I submitted. No post processing - but the harmony track is in there along with this take. I had a lot of fun with this and it reminded me how much I miss playing with any sort of goal or purpose. Maybe if and when I hit retirement???

Damn! Thank you very much! I listen to my own playing and always think it sounds so 'scaler' that its almost 'paint by numbers.' (lol) But there isn't anything I enjoy more than fiddling around with my gear and running through bits of Racer-X solos I've tried to break down over the years.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh it's you playing.....the way I read it I thought it was your friend playing.....Oppps...... I re-read it and it is you playing....well then you have some chops and your solo was very eloquently controlled fury.....not wank wank wank....... great playing PDC!
