Retro King plexi 50

So i sold my 2 channel recto and Im in the market for a new amp, pretty much got it down to a few

1- retro king plexi 50 with the gain mod

2- new mark 5

3- 1987x clone
4- jcm 800

I have a 6505+ and a 3 channel dual rec as well thats why I think Im leaning towards a "plexi" style amp. But damn Ive wanted a mark 5 since they came out

The Mark V is a cool amp IMO but it isn't going to do the plexi thing. You should play as many amps of interest as you can and make an educated decision...no amount of forum noise is going to determine which one works the best for you. There are no shortage of plexi inspired amps...both traditional and hot-rodded. Not a bad decision to have to make

true but only the mark 5 is local where I can play it. Im leaning towards the TK really @ 1000 bucks for a torrent board amp If i dont dig it Im pretty sure I can recoupe must of my cash on it if i sell it down the road
