Why such a drastic volume cut? I mean I got the amp for the gain but damn, I do play some clean intros sometimes.

Is there any way to make this useable in a live setting or band practice? Maybe a volume pedal or something? Idk, I haven't messed with the loop yet and don't really use pedals.

I like an 808 in front of my amps and sometimes an EQ in the loop but i do not have any issues utilizing more pedals to get what I want as long as it doesn't kill my tone.

So what do you guys do to compensate for the clean channel's vagina?

Just standard fare.... Common observation. Totally normal and NOTHING is wrong. And yes, we're talking about 1/2 dial clockwise to level the output difference, right??

Yep. Normal.

In essence, the Rev.2 was/is all about its 2nd channel - but a lot of cats use the 1st channel cranked and just stuff it a mess of FX into it as an added bonus channel. FWIW.

How ya liking it so far??

Yep. I run the clean channel volume really high compared to the gain channel. It will never be as loud, but in a live situation you're probably talking about mic'ing up your amp at that volume anyway.

As for why the clean channel is so much quieter, I have no idea. It's annoying, but doesn't make the clean channel useless.

Ok I over reacted. It is usable at practice but I have to max out the gain.

Maybe it's time for a stereo rig lol

@Ventura Really liking this amp quite a bit. Still trying to dial in my sound with my new cab and testing pedals and what not. I still need some new tubes as well. Need to do some tinkering but yes, I love the Rev 2.
