The first reverse headstock Moderns are now on their way to eagerly awaiting customers. Here's a sampling. The drip finish Moderns are going to artist Peter Joseph of the thrash metal band The Absence. The reverse h/s really fits the Modern very well. One more option to consider, guys! ;)

Holy crap, is that a stock option, and if so how much to have that done? I had a Kiko Loureiro sig model that was scalloped from frets 12-27 and it was absolutely awesome, would love to order a modern with scallops if that's an option! :D

The scalloping work is done by hand by Mike Ponce, our production manager and master builder. It's a lot of labor. The list upcharge is $600 for the scallop job on the whole neck and $300 for half.

Hooray, that means mine should be shipping soon as well. Has been ordered somewhere in March, wondering whether it was the first :/ ...

Is there an option for neck-through instead of bolt-on? I'm really digging the purple flamed top.
