Reversed knobs on Herbie?

Herbert question...Are some of the knobs on the amp supposed to be reversed? Some eq and volume? I just got a used Herbert and that is what's happening, clockwise is MIN and counter clockwise is MAX..weird. Is that the way they are designed? Also, the overall volume is way too loud even at 1! Is that normal?

I hope You are not kidding me. Of course knobs should work
clockwise. Bring Your amp to a skilled tech.
