Just picked up a revolt barbarian x head .it sounds great, just wanting to see if anyone has any info on these amps. I have messaged and called revolt with no reply.

The guy is out of Romeoville IL, last I heard of Barbarian Amps, he uses torrodial power transformers at least in the Revolt I tried at a Sam Ash once. I can't say I liked anything about the amp myself sounded like a slightly gainier JCM800, Maybe it had issues, didn't make me want to buy it, a MarkIIC boogie wooped it's ass that day.

it might have had some issues, this one has a ton of gain, still no word back from revolt.

You always get some interesting amps man. Tried finding some stuff on these and as mentioned, not a lot out there.

yeah i got the revolt super cheap, the amp does sound good. still have not heard back from revolt tho. not looking real good as far as supporting there amps.
