I only do room recording, and I hear that not close micing is a faux pas.

If people want recordings from me, they get them on my terms. I hate DAWs, and I don't have anything to record but my portable stereo zoom.

I don't want to be an audio engineer or a producer, I just want to play.

So there is my statement.

Give me drum tracks and I will play them over my bose, and turn up my amp and record it all .... audio only. In the room. All in one take. No apologies. Oops.
