I have a Riviera amp head that has a hum problem. I could use some tips on how to resolve the issue. Here are some facts.
1. No hum when volume is at 3. Hum at all other settings
2. Hum with or without the guitar plugged in.
3. Hum with or without a cable plugged into the input.
4. All caps were replaced including electrolytic and bypass caps
5. Not all of the resistors were changed.
6. I used deoxit to clean the pots
7. I added a 3 prong power cord
I was told it may be caused by the filament wiring in this amp.
I've attached the only schematic I can find and seems to match what I have.
Any assistance would be appreciated.
