rm20 plus what module will get ???

what module will get me in the range of the OD100 SE+ sound..... SL2X???

i am new to the RM20 series and it looks like a good grab and go....

OD100+SE high gain sound would probably be EG5. SL2X would probably be closer to PT100. But keep in mind youve only got 20 watts, a 12" speaker and EL84 tubes. It wont sound THAT close to a 5881 loaded 100 watt head pushing a 212 or 412 even at low volumes.
 
Also keep in mind you can only use the "A" channel of the module in the RM20. The EG5 channel A has significantly more gain on tap than the SL2X channel A.
 
i know... i know... just starting to look into these things... it seems like a really good grab and go.... or i might just use my badger and riot pedal.... i dont know... i will check into the EG5 and see

I honestly think Badger and Riot will get you closer based on what I heard at NAMM last year and John has supposedly made the Riot better than the prototype at NAMM over the course of the year. I played the Riot through the Hedgehog clean and thought it sounded great and close to the OD100SE+ I played in the booth.
 
For an RM20 head, I'd get a Brahma or Mr. Scary and send it to Jaded Faith and have him mod it...Wicked tones....
