Robin Trower cancels North American tour due to health concerns

I think he is getting kinda frail these days. I have seen him many times but the last time was not so great to me. I hope he can recover.
 
@JohnnyGtar I think Buddy Guy is also calling it a quits after this summer. Some of Buddy's more recent videos he also looks pretty frail. I look at the bright side. If it was sports these guys would've been done sixty years ago but we get all that extra time and enjoyment. Buddy was hot for a long time. So was Trower. Better to retire and preserve the legacy you've created than to be a shell of what you once were just for a dollar. I think it's even more noble considering that today everything is viewed as a money machine to be run into the ground for every penny. In the long run, it's a smarter decision.
 
I’ve seen Robin Trower more than any other artist/band. Countless shows. The highlight was seeing him 5x with James Dewar.
IMO he should have packed it in years ago.
Even before Covid. His “band” are faceless mediocre High School Dance players. If you can’t tour with a decent band, don’t. He hasn’t been doing his legacy any favors.
That said, I just got the Bridge Of Sighs 50th Anniversary set and it is killer.
 
Not surprised; he looks ten trillion years old
