HI Gang,

I was wondering if it's possible to put in a signal chain (AKA GCX) a rockman x100 as a regular pedal(mine on clean channel)
I use a Ground control pro and a GCX to switch everything. would use loop 1 for clean from the Rockman ?

BTW I use a G-Major2 in the loop of the amp.

let's see...

Not 100% sure about your hookup scenario, but one thing I do know is any of the amp versions of the Rockman (plus Rockmodules) units require a "full-frequency-range" "power amp" section (a la straight in to PA, mixer, tube or SS power amp).

Using them in conjunction with any sort of regular guitar amp (such as in front of one) will sound like ass (although with the Rockman clean you may be able to get away with it sounding decent at best).

I have:

- Sustainor
- Distortion Generator
- Stereo Chorus
- Stereo Echo
- MIDI Octopus

...and I run the signal from those straight into a SS power amp and then speakers.

I also have an X-100b that I rarely use.

So to sum up, I would treat the Rockman as a 2nd amp and definitely not as an effect. I would get an amp switcher to go between my main amp and the Rockman, and give the Rockman (utilizing the headphone out jack) its own power amp and speaker (alternatively, plug the Rockman straight in to the PA/mixer/DAW).

Yep the rockman needs a power amp , iv tried using it in the effects loop and boy was it terrible . Rockman. Stuff is the best , I love my sustainor , chorus and echo !
