Rocktron Patchmate Loop 8 Floor - anyone use one?

Did they ever fix the thing where it takes two steps to change between presets?

Been looking at the Musicomlab EFX as well but that thing is pricey even used.. about double the Rocktron.

I think I found the answer in the manual, it looks like they updated the firmware to change the mode that switching defaults to.

What cables did you use to wire yours?

I used to use one when had a pedal board until I went to rack gear. But i loved it I used it to change my Recto and my efffects I had my time based effects run through the loop and my over drives and such through the front. Even with the two step process it cleaned my tap dancing up... I would just hit the set up button switch to my patch and then hit the set up button again so it was ready for me to hit another patch! I used Goerge L's to custom fit all the wiring !

Does this come updated if u buy it new ?? Does the midi send mess to an amp gizmo?

I made may own cables with Mogami W2319 cable and Amphenol connectors, ACPM-GB-AU and ACPM-RB-AU.

Did the Rocktron have any effect on tone through the loop? Was it fairly easy to set up?
