Rocktron Prophesy...anybody ever gig/seen a gig with one

It looks like my current project may move me towards a rack set up with a lot of options and easy switching....I'll be singing some lead vocals at times and handing off lead guitar to another member while I cover the rythym. The Prophesy/Midi-Mate llooks promising and affordable...but does it sound good at gig volumes in small to medium venues?
 
I saw Megadeth when Dave was using this as his main tone... Dave's tone sounded pretty sweet. I also saw a thrash band a while back where one guitarist was using a Prophecy / VHT 2:50:2 combo and his tone was pretty good. Don't have any experience with them other than those two instances.
 
Both Dave and the other Megadeth guitarist are currently using them and I've seen them a couple times recently and they sounded great. Seems that a wide variety of tones are available with those things...

I don't know th edifference between the Prophesy and Prophesy II, btu I absolutely LOVE the Prophesy II.

The onlything I would caution you on is that there is A LOT! to tweak, so you can make it sound bad just as easily as making it sound good.
 
Thanks, fellas. It looks like I'll go this route. I'm a Mesa Boogie fan....so, I'm used to tweaking. :D
