Rocktron Vendetta or Egnater Tourmaster?

I'd love to find an Egnater TOL to purchase, but I'm finding that to be quite a waiting game. Has anyone played both a Rocktron Vendetta and a new Tourmaster? If you had your choice which would you buy and why?
 
I just realized the Vendetta I was looking at was a re-released new model. Probably everyone here already knows it, but Rocktron re-released the Vendetta "Egnater designed" tube amp this year. It's now also made in China like the Tourmaster. Looks like the price point is similar so the Tourmaster definitely wins on features.

Solid-state poweramp with tube preamp, if I remember right?
Not the "real" Vendetta circuit (got one sitting next to me right now hehe).
But hey, if that's your kinda thing, go for it :rock:
I personally would try to find one of the 100 or so "original" ones.
They show up from time to time.
Mine isn't going anywhere though that's for sure. :gethim:

wrong.

They just re-re-released the tube one. quoted from the rocktron site:

"The Vendetta brings 100 watts of power into 4, 8 and 16 ohms. EL34 power tubes are the choice here and to make life easier on the road we’ve included external bias test points and adjustment. Very cool.
Two sets of “British” style tone controls with a special voicing switch for Vintage or Modern sounds help round out that versatility we’ve been talking about. You’ll be hard pressed to find an amp that delivers more. Master, Presence and Density controls add to the sonic party."
 
Rocktron was 'abusing' the vendetta name for the last couple of years on the VH160R heads which are hybrids. They just re-released the all tube version, but it's pretty tough to find. Tougher to find, similar price and fewer features than the tourmaster so the tourmaster seems to be the obvious choice between the two.

I think those are just NOS ones sitting around yet? :gethim:
 
Hey drothberg & guitarslinger,

I have an original Rocktron U.S. made Vendetta amp head from the original run of 100 made. I'm sort of surprised they brought it back into production now. I got lucky and scored mine from a local seller for a good price w/ an Anvil amp head case. :thumbsup: . Hopefully the re-released version will be of good quality as the original one I have.
