I just got back from a fantastic Scorpions show and I kept saying to myself that Rudy Schenker has fantastic tone! Does anyone know if he actually uses his Dean pickups or some other guitar pickup? What amp setup is he running.

No clue. Sorry. From what I can remember though, he usually has a pretty straight forward set up. Even simpler that Zakk's.

According to wiki he hits a engl endorsement. Either way solid tone. .saw them a month ago here in San Diego

That guy is the true backbone of the Scorpions. He has written most of the songs and has had outstanding rhythm playing.

On the last tour (which is apparently still going on), he and Mathias were both using ENGLs exclusively...not sure which models though.

Even Alien Nation had incredible tones.
