Hey guys Im looking for a way to run and control preferably via midi, i wanna run my Vh4 and My modded pre500 two channel mesa boogie recto together, using a foot controller switch between the channels on my vh4 and my two channel recto at the same time. ANyone have any ideas? Products etc..?? Does anyone do this? what products are they using?

THANKS MAN, this thing seems great. Maybe just because it's german

Thanks but with this i wont be able to switch the channels on my vh4 and recto. For example one setting, channel three vh4 with channel two red recto, Then another channel 4 vh4 with channel 1 recto orange etc. do you follow what im saying? This is a high grade aby box it looks like.

http://www.axess-electronics.com and check out the amp switcher/audio looper and midi pedal. email mario and tell him what you want to do. he will get back to you pronto.

or

http://www.voodoolab.com and check out the gcx audio switcher / ground controller (what I use for now). as your DR switches with TRS 1/4" phono plugs, you can handle these through the send jacks on the audio switcher. make program changes to switch the VH4. I mostly use it to activate the channel inserts and select the pedals in the inserts. easy to program too. run you about 800 bucks for the set up.

or

http://www.customaudioelectronics.com and check out the 4x4 audio switcher and RS10 midi controller and really spend some bucks on top of the line gear.

or

use a cheap midi pedal to switch the Vh4 and use your mesa footswitch for the DR.

Here's as well one happy GCX (+GCP) user.

I use two heads simultaneously. Diezel VH4 and Mako MAK2 if someone is interested. Both driven into separate cabs.

oh yeah, don't put both heads into one cab if using the gcx. when you switch heads, the other will not see a load and you will be changing a fuse really quickly. found that out the hard way!

you will also need a 1/4" female x 2-male 1/4" y-connector. don't forget to add that to your shopping list if you go that route. you can download the gcx manual on the voodoo labs sight. it will show you the y plug plus about 8 different set ups for using different gear in several configurations.
