A masterpiece!

"This week marks the 43rd anniversary of RUSH's fifth studio album, A FAREWELL TO KINGS. Following the success of 2112 in 1976, it came as no surprise that the band decided to stay on the Prog Rock train with tracks like Xanadu and Cygnus X-1 (named after the closest known black hole to Earth). Ironically, the most popular track on the album was the melodic fan-favorite, Closer To The Heart, which was co-written by Peter Talbot, a close friend of Neil Peart. And believe it or not, A Farewell to Kings became the band's first Gold album in the US, selling over 500,000 copies in less than two months. While many RUSH fans cite this as an overlooked gem, there's little question that it set the stage for their rise to immortality with Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, and Moving Pictures."

Hēsíodos 700 BC (Neil Peart): "Observe due measure, for right timing is in all things the most important factor"

Rush (Alex): As a guitarist, our rush gig is Fly by Night (2nd studio album) 2112 (4th studio album) Hemispheres (6th studio album) Permanent Waves (7th studio album), Moving Pictures (8th studio album), Signals (9th studio album), then for shear fun Roll the Bones (14th studio album).

Mr. Weinrib lost my interest when he injected the superb guitar maestro's music with harmonies of lots, tract, parcel and land into two or more plots, plats & sites (subdivisions). Alex specifically "hates keyboards" when they are on the floor.

Good stuff WGAF.
