Russia deploys hypersonic ‘Oreshnik’ ballistic missile

Russia launched an experimental hypersonic ballistic missile at Ukraine overnight in response to Kyiv being permitted to strike Russia with U.S. and British long-range missiles, President Vladimir Putin said Thursday, vowing to respond to further “escalation.”


While the Russian leader has previously warned that letting Kyiv use long-range arms against Russian targets would put NATO “at war” with Moscow, Thursday's statement marked his most direct warning yet.


“In response to the use of American and British long-range weaponry, on November 21, the Russian Armed Forces conducted a combined strike on a Ukrainian defense industry facility,” Putin said in televised comments.


“Among the operations carried out was the testing of one of Russia’s latest medium-range missile systems. In this case, a ballistic missile equipped with a non-nuclear hypersonic warhead was used,” the Kremlin leader said. “Russian missile operators named the system ‘Oreshnik.’ The tests were deemed successful, with the target being hit as intended.”
 
This provocation may be worse than the Cuban Missile crisis...........
 
Joe and the people around him have until mid January to start WWIII. It would be a diadem to a wonderful presidency.

Of course they're not deterred, they want a war. What's crazy to me is that European countries, the ones likely to be most affected, aren't putting an end to this.

It's the only path for them to maintain power. What's the likelihood they don't take it? Then Biden resigns cause he's old and Harris makes history as the first woman president for ten minutes before America is eliminated as a super power forever.

I think they have lost power, both politically with trump and now militarily with Russia. I really can't guess the strategy, but probably ramp up the war as much as possible so at least the military contracts keep getting signed. And perhaps more sinister so that Gates depopulation desires are ultimately realized.
 
I'm not sure that people have realized that these missiles are a game changer. Russia is now the world's most powerful military.
 
And I doubt anyone who got rich off of the useless hundred million dollar f-35 jets even care about any of this. Hopefully they invested in some underground bunkers along with their coastal villas.
