Hi,

I just ordered two of the new Diezel frontloaded cabinets and would like to try
them with the salt & pepper grill. Does anyone know where to get the grill?

Thanks
Markus

Sorry, I want the complete assembled grill with the logo not just the material ;)

You'd have to order through a Diezel distributor of direct from Peter.

I have a pair of the salt and pepper grill clothes for a front loaded cabs. I got them when I got the new cabinets. IMO, the cabs do sound better with the black cloth for some reason.

Are you serious or?

Am I serious about what? Having two salt and pepper front loaded cab grill clothes???? YES

Am I serious that the black grill clothes sound better to my ears then the salt and pepper grill clothes??? YES

There is a noticeable difference. I initially thought I was crazy but several friends (some musicians and some not) all noticed the difference as well. The material is not the same and it does change things. :)

yeah, sorry about the sound difference.

I suppose the type of fabric can change how the audio is diffused , dampened maybe?

what si the sound difference like? darker? it's just strange to me that's all, my original post was more of just a silly kind of joke as I thought you were joking.

hahaha sorry!

Chris

It is hard to explain. It is just different. I guess you could say it is a slight bit damped. I will have to go switch them see again so I can better describe it.

I can attest to that. I have a new V30 fl cab with both grills, and the sound changes dramatically with the s&p grill. It's much more "damp and boomy", while the black grill makes the sound "sharper" - for lack of better words.
