Salvia?

Saw an article today online. They are saying its the next "marijuana" to sweep the nation and are trying to make it illegal. Anyone have any insight on this stuff? Is it just a halucinogen(sp)?

He's got a few more of his friends tirpping as well. There has been a lot of misinformation spread around recently about Salvia. Its has no side effects, and its not dangerous, but thats not stopping "the man" from wanting it criminlized.
 
Yea, I think I'll just stay away from anything that turns me into an blithering idiot.
 
Its pretty strong but not too fun. Like a micro trip of sorts. Interesting but not something i have high on my list to do again.

My thoughts exactly. Why its fun to turn yourself into a vegetable for 10 minutes goes beyond what I can understand.
 
Yeah I've heard as well that is a fucking trip (and not necessarily a good one)
 
Doing more reading. Alot of people reporting weird visions and experiences. Like living different entire lifetimes during the trip and all sorts of crazy stuff.
 
i ripped a huge bong hit of the stuff one time. it felt like my face turned into liquid or something for a good minute, way intense. then your high for a couple minutes and thats about it
 
I actually just did it today, smoked a little and all I got was a really intense feeling, then smoked more and tripped out. I laid down on the couch and thought I was in a coffin, closed my eyes and saw the lid shut and heard a prayer said. That freaked me out. So I then went outside, fell over and laid on my back trying to decide whether I should continue to lay there or not. Then about 5 minutes later I woke the fuck up to the world and got up.

Not a bad way to spend 15 minutes.
 
I have smoked it hundred of times about five years ago. It does not turn you in to a vegetable. It gives a a altered awareness that is equal to normal reality or greater (do not drive for several hours -even if you feel alright). This is not a drug for the faint of heart, it is very strong. Much stronger than a large dose. The 10X is the way to go. Much stronger than that and you can not tell the difference. I would not recommend using this drug without having someone sober sit in. It is that strong.
