I used a Sansamp last year in an ensemble I was in. It sounds just great. I think it's a great pedal.

That sounds cool man. :) I'd been surfing around for info, i found some clips on the Tech 21 site. And man does that box look like tweaker's heaven! What were your settings? Were you going direct to the board or through an amp?

I had a pedal like that almost 10 years ago...has a pretty cool sound.
You can run an amp totally clean and use just the pedal for all the gain needed...it has a ton of gain.
The pedal convinced me to buy the PSA-1 rackmount unit as well.

Here's a mid-gain, rough song clip...all the electrics are direct to board with the SansAmp unit...sounds better using it in front of an amp, but this may give you an idea of how it sounds.

Supposedly the older sansamps sound better than the newer ones. From what I have read, the classic is supposed to sound the best, but its not a tweak on the fly setup with those little dip switches....

Heey that sounds really nice! I couldn't tell if it was an amp sim or a real amp. I can't wait to get the sansamp!
