I had a few minutes this morning and wanted to try something different. The left and right sides are different. Does one sound better than another or both the same? Or maybe one sounds worse than the other :)

Anyway here is the clip.....

Rock Candy

That sounds killer as usual George. I didn't pan it left or right though. Can't do it on this PC. But yeah, sounds GREAT.

Thanks Jason. I cant pan them on this pc either and I'm too lazy to move these little speakers. :D

BTW...we finally got our furnace thing squared away, just in time. Thanks again for the help.

The two sides sounded very similar, but my right speaker may have been a little smoother while the left speaker had a bit more of an edge to it. They sound great together.

Hey there. So is that a Wizard Modern Classic? Sounds great!

Can't say which I like better, but it brought back memories of my first Rock Concert I ever saw as a kid, without my parents. I was about 13 , and Ronnie Montrose opened for Foghat and Black Oak Arkansas.. I'm probably one of the only guys on (if not the only one) on this forum who saw Montrose play ROck Candy and Bad Motor Scooter, etc in the early 70's! (Of course that means I'm getting older than dirt)

Your guitar sounds great btw

Eric

Sounds nice and crunchy, George! I can't tell too much of a difference between the two.

How loud were the amps cranked? It sounds like you had them pushing some air. Great job!

Thanks. One side has more edge or brightness to it when I listen. It wasnt that loud at all. A lot lower than I usually use to record.

The right has a tad more zing to my ears. Funny, I had my speakers reversed before so I thought the left had more zing 1st. Since you brought it up, I decided to check my speakers and sho' nuff, theys switched around. :D I've suspected this for awhile, but just didn't care to look.

Ive done that same thing many times

:)

What is different on the two sides is this, left side is Heritage 65's and right side is MIE RI GBs.....

Awesome Bro.

What were you playin?
Thanks Slay. It was my Anderson Hollow Cobra, Wizard Metal, Wizard 412 with the 65's on the top and the GB's on the bottom. Wanted to see how they recorded.....

My left speaker is a bit smoother so that makes sense! Sounds great as usual bro!

How are you diggin' those Heritages? You still dig the greenies more??

I prefer the right side, personally. Maybe my hearing is going bad, but the right sounds a touch smoother than the left, to me. I'm wearing headphones, so I know it's not a speaker L/R issue. I also checked my settings to make sure I didn't have them mixed up. Weird. They're SOOO close though, that's it's really hard for me to tell.

A friend of mine sent these to me and will be on their way to him soon. He was cool to let me check them out. I hear them the same way....smoother than the GB's. The 65's to me sound alot like a 75 with the mids not scooped. I have a set of H30's in my 2-12 and I want to try them in the 412. They sound really low middy in my 2-12.

On my setup the GBs are on the right and are brighter with alittle more definition than the 65's. They are not that far apart tonally. The bottom holds together a bit better on the 65's and the treble isn't as sharp.
