All I know about Sawtooth is that MAB sells the HELL out of them. If it weren't for him, I would have never known. But they must be selling, right? I just never see or hear anything about the brand unless its a MAB youtube video.

I don't have any intention on buying one, but I am curious to know if anyone has actually bought one...or at least played one?

Also how about the amps?

Some of them look cool. They were supposed to send me a guitar and amp for some demos. preCovid but it never materialized

They must be a bitch to play. One of the models I looked at said it had a 5" scale:LOL:

I own 2 Sawtooth guitars. One acoustic, one electric. . Quality wise I'd say they're better than Squiers. Some of the more expensive models may give pricier brands a run for the money, but I haven't tried the more expensive models yet. No clue about the amps. My amps are all Fender.

Mine play pretty well. Obviously a $2500 Les Paul plays better, but my $250 Sawtooth Heritage does pretty good. It's gigable.

One thing though.. *IF* you buy one , I'd buy it directly from them. There's some outfit called Premium Service CA on Amazon buying up all of the Sawtooth stuff and relisting it at 2 or 3 times the price.

Just for the fun of it, I just put my Sawtooth Heritage 68 seriel number into the Guitar Insite database.

It came back as a Samick seriel number. Take that as you will.

Lol. My first guitar ever was a Samick. Red strat copy. It was sooo cool and pretty opening it up as a 13 year old kid

My third guitar about 30 years ago was an Epiphone strat copy which was made in the same factory that came up for this one. Love that guitar...still have it in fact. Still plays and sounds great. If that's where Sawtooth has their electrics made, they're definately a worth having.. It's kind of neat thinking the same guy might have made both guitars 😁
