schecter hellraiser, or esp ec1000 deluxe?

dont have alot of loot to spend at the moment, i like these two guitars, can't have bolth. i know ones a singlecut, besides that, are the build quality ect the same, which direction would you guys go? pros cons. etc.

you can't go wrong with either IMO...i like schecters...but i love that blue on the LTD also...both are quality guitars
 
They're both made in the same factory, so they're very similar. I think the EC looks better, but I like the 25.5" scale of the Schecter more.

yea thats the one thing thats kinda got me leaning towards the schecter is the longer scale
 
Man those both look great! Whats the ballpark price on both of those?

the hellraiser is 649
ec1000 deluxe is 839 (with that blue finish)
 
The LTD is 24 fret ...might get a little crowded in the upper registers being a shorter scale than the Schecter

i've heard that they were made in the same factory before
 
I used to own a Schecter with EMGs & though I play exclusively LPs now I miss that axe sometimes. I've been thinking of getting one again.
 
if you're interested i've got a mint ec1000 (red) that i would let go of...i'm the original owner, i just don't play it much

obviously i'd get the ec1000 of those two but i like the shorter scale and the lp style body shape, the schecter is a sweet guitar for sure tho
 
I'd go with the EC-1000 but then again I'm biased. I own two lol
 
Damn, that blue EC looks great! Makes me miss my old black one. The ECs are really nice, but I like schecters too!
 
I've owned both, not much to choose between 'em but Hellraiser is one mean sounding guitar and it's nice to have that longer scale...since if I want to play an LP..I have an LP :D

id go Schecter...just because im more of a Strat-style guy. and i have a Hellraiser FR...so maybe im biased, but i do like the longer scale and of course, strat-style shape.
