For BOTH FUCKING NIGHTS AT MADISON SQUARE!!!!

This dude changed my entire life when my dad took me to see Floyd when I was 11. Walking out of Foxboro Stadium I told him “I want to play guitar” and a few months later I had my first one, now I’m here with you fucks 30 years later.

There’s only one dude I have no problem turning into a 14 year old fanboy for and it’s Gilmour. Didn’t think I’d ever get to see him again, didn’t even think I was going to get tix for one show today, never mind both.

JP2C is gonna have to wait a few months to buy now cuz those tickets weren’t fucking cheap!

Foxboro Stadium ????? you talking about the Floyd show back in 88 or 89 ??

Nope, but my dad was at both nights for that tour. I saw them in ‘94 on the Division Bell tour there.
I've got my years mixed up ...... that is tour I was thinking of ..... We hung out in the parking lot partying .... trying to score tickets to get in .... never did

I didn't know you were a fellow New Englander ?

For all the technical stuff we tend to like here, Gilmour never ceases to amaze at how much he can say with fewer notes. And then also the singing and writing. He’s always been one of my favorites and I’ve always been a Floyd freak.

Enjoy the shows! Only 7 shows in the US, at only 2 locations!

I'm so bummed that it's such a small amount of dates in 2 cities, but not surprised. I've seen hundreds of concerts but he's at the top of my bucket list.

Born and raised in Lewiston, ME, lived in Nashua, NH for a couple years, then Rockland, MA for 5. I’m in Florida now but usually make it up there once a year.

Yep, I’m a huge Vai nerd, but one note that I’ve heard played 5,000,000 in a Gilmour solo does more for me than anyone else. So many players I’ve had phases where I loved them then could take it or leave it, but Gilmour’s playing has always given me the same feeling.

His voice doesn’t get a ton of credit, but he’s got a pretty ridiculous range and doesn’t seem to have lost any of it with age.

same with me, hes one of them im gonna regret not ever seeing. nice score

When I was at Ohio State, Pink Floyd played at the horseshoe. Mind blowing show.

Gilmour is one of the Gods of music IMO. I think people will be enjoying his music for hundreds of years.

AFAIC, he's the only guitarist on the same level as Jeff Beck.
