Hey guys.. Just picked up an '06 vh4..
The master volume is a little scratchy sounding. ( can't think of a better description)
Not a big deal really but I'm wondering if it's ok to spray cleaner in the pot or is this a no-no..

Try playing with your knob for 2-3 minutes

If it doesn't work some lubricant

A bit cleaner will solve the issue.
I had 5 bad pots since 1992.

Dude.. That is the quote of the year!

The amp had been sitting for a while before I bought it..
I've been playing all morning with it now after re-tubing and the scratchiness is gone.

Holy shit btw... believe the hype.. This amp is bad ass
Peter you're a genius.

Was one of these in my Herbert which visited your shop last winter?

Ilkka from Finland

I tell the truth

Of course we had more bad pots during the production
concerning tolerances.

You want to know the real story about pots ?

Before we switched from Piher to Alphastat (former Preh)
my wife and me were selecting pots on Sunday afternoon.
After kicking the manufacure we had more time for each other
and Max was born.
