I've decided to just keep it. Always good to keep a Strat around, and there was no way I could buy a Strat for the money I was asking and get the same specs and quality in return.

that was such a steal ...

I thought so too, but I couldn't give it away. I think maybe the non-Warmoth mods done after the fact might have hurt it some, but nobody sees any of that under a pick guard. Oh well, ain't hurting my feelings any to keep it.

Smart decision in this market. Nothing is moving right now. Seems like to get something to sell you have to be below market right now. Everything I see is just sitting.

Yeah, probably for the best. As far as Strats go, I can honestly say that I've never played one better than this one. Of course this is coming from a non-Strat guy with pretty limited experience with them, so what do I know. :ROFLMAO:

My only gripe with it was the weight, it's a chunk for sure.

The weight probably gives it a better sound.

I know pickups can be a factor but I have come across some pretty killer sounding guitars where they weighed a ton!!

Personally, I really prefer heavier guitars and I lift some pretty heavy weight at the gym so lighter guitars end up feeling cheap to me like they are just going to break in my hands ?

Is the Naked just sitting "keeping in touch"

Unfortunately parts guitars never command the money they’re worth. You have to build them to keep them or expect to take a bath
So true. I've sold a couple but for the most part all my partscasters either turn out such that I like them and would never sell them for 3x or more than anyone would pay OR if I don't like them I remove the offending part and try something else. @War_in_D You could try a lighter body and just transfer all the parts. Play that for a while and reassess. But that's only if its worth the chase.

What can be frustrating is usually looks and performance have no correlation. Looks great, sounds meh...looks meh, sounds amazing. It happens a lot.
